FOUNDER AND CEO
Sasha Dismuke, Esq.
Our Founder and CEO, Sasha Dismuke, was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She is the youngest child and only daughter of Marshall Dismuke, Sr., and Deborah Dismuke, who have greatly influenced her love for cooking, fact-finding, justice, knowledge, and writing. While her father is a real estate broker by profession, he greatly influenced Sasha’s propensity for cooking as his father was a chef by profession who hailed from New Orleans, LA. Mr. Dismuke also laid the foundation for Sasha’s skills in investigations, law, and policy, as he is a community servant who is active in city planning and various litigations and believes in advocacy for those without a voice. Mrs. Dismuke is an English, literature, and written composition instructor who has been in education for over thirty years. She is Sasha’s, and many others, greatest inspiration and was actually Sasha’s teacher for three years of her life: (1) fifth-grade social studies, government, and geography; (2) seventh-grade English, literature, and written composition; and, (3) eighth grade English, literature and written composition. Mrs. Dismuke is the epitome of light, love, and faith and is single-handedly responsible for instilling Sasha’s core values and critical thinking skills.
At the age of four, Sasha was taught to read on a college level in one day. Thereafter, Sasha began to thirst for knowledge and constantly questioned the world around her. In elementary school, Sasha attended inner-city schools that did not stimulate her mind nor cater to her introverted thinking patterns. She was often overlooked and labeled “average” as she struggled to find meaning in what was being taught in the classroom. Nevertheless, her love for reading afforded her the opportunity to self-educate and develop her own path to success.
In eighth grade, after an impromptu in-class mock trial, Sasha realized that lawyering was a natural gift. She almost reconsidered as her passion for cooking eventually led her to apply to Le Cordon Bleu. However, after being tasked with cooking an entire Thanksgiving meal at the age of 16, she realized that for her, cooking was not a career but simply a hobby.

WHY HEALTH AND WELLNESS?
Throughout her life, Sasha has experienced and suffered from a vast amount of chronic symptoms such as gut dysbiosis, h. pylori, kidney stones, strep throat , tonsillitis , tonsillectomy, and unfortunately much more. For decades Sasha ran to the emergency room, urgent care, and even specialists, begging for relief. She was constantly precribed antibiotics, steroids, proton pump inhibitors, opiates and much more but never actually healed. In fact, more illnesses developed and caused more issues.
When her close family member was diagnosed with a chronic illness, Sasha’s research and application of knowledge not only illuminated a path towards healing for her then-client, but also for herself. Sasha’s faith is the foundation of her values and ethics and thus, she sincerely believes in divine purpose. Despite experiencing chronic stress and physical despair, she knows that “All things work together . . .” (Romans 8:29). Sasha also understands that God has gifted her the comfort in knowing that her pain had a purpose and it is her duty to comfort those with that same comfort (2 Corinthians 1:4) which is the mission of Mindful Living.
Today, Sasha continues daily research and investigations by way of courses, holistic medical professional mentorships, in-depth reading and analysis, medical libraries, memberships, seminars and much more. Her passion for fact-finding, justice and healing began in the legal realm and has now branched into wellness. This is only the beginning as she continues to use mindfulness as her primary tool.
